Ryan and I were talking about this memory the other day.
The back story: we had been married a year, we were living in St George, UT, we were going to Dixie State together and even took a Children's Literature class together and the best thing was we worked at the Red Cliffs Mall together. I was working at Gap and he had a job at Dippin' Dots and then at another booth selling cell phones. The awesome part is that I could look out the window and see him and wave. Anyway, that was such a fun set up for us and one of my favorite places that we have lived. We were still figuring out married life together and had some great fights there, but we also had fun just being buddies.
One thing that we were figuring out was holidays. I was accustomed to celebrating holidays in the morning and Ryan thought holidays could be celebrated throughout the day. It is not known for sure if this was a planned thing that Ryan did or if it was an oops I forgot scramble, but, Valentine's Day was nearing the end and still nothing from Ryan. I was closing that night and all of the sudden a lady came in and asked for me. She had lipstick on her teeth and was definitely in the local Relief Society, she then proceeded to loudly sing all of these show tunes in my face. My manager knew about it and grabbed the store camera and took these shots. Ryan came in as she was leaving and was totally bummed he missed it.
Anyway, great memories living in St George and I thought this would be appropriate since Valentine's Day is around the corner.
