Flashback January

Engagement pictures from the vault, because our anniversary is around the corner. This was our first posed photo session and will probably be our only posed photo session (besides our wedding day) if Ryan has anything to say about it. I was actually surprised how easily he went along with it because he hates taking posed photos. The photographer put us in some great poses, some of them didn't make the cut for this post because they were too awkward.

I do love that we did a session like this because it really captures where we were in life. So young, so awkward and so in love. I mean, I didn't even have an engagement ring yet. Well, I did, but that is another story that you can refresh yourself with here. Whenever I look at pictures like these I think, "Who let us get married?"

At the end of the shoot, the photographer asked us if there were anymore poses we'd like to do and Ryan suggested a running shot. So here you go. It must have been true love on my part to go along with a running shot.
