Flashback January

So there was a time period when I stopped using 35mm film and stopped scrap booking and went to digital but I hadn't started blogging. So all of those pictures are stored away on a hard drive or whatever you call it, and have not really been seen. So, that was the first and easiest place I looked to find flashback pics.

These pictures are from Ryan's youngest sister Hillary's wedding back in 2006.

We took sibling pics of the four Stephens siblings together at the wedding dinner the night before and they always promise a good time. Looking at these pictures make me smile and makes me want to point out that their pictures together are always so natural. If it looks like they are enjoying it, they are. The Stephens family has always been a family I have looked up to, they all have their own qwirks and can be totally different, but when they are together you can tell that they truly love each other and that they had a happy childhood together. I love this family and hope my kids have a relationship like they do.

I wish I had copies of their family pictures growing up, those are some good Flashback quality photos. But since I don't, enjoy these.

And I thought I'd throw this one in and point out a quote I read the other day that said "Today's fat pictures are tomorrow's skinny pictures." I remember thinking, that's a bummer picture and then I saw it tonight and thought "Aw, that is a kind of cute picture of us. Even if I look a little chubby in the cheeks." So there we were, almost a year away from bringing firecracker Kate into the world. We did not know what was coming, what kind of party we were going to start.
