Round Trip

I may not read very many grown up books, but I am well read in the children's book genre.

Thought I would post a favorite of mine from the Little Lake Library days. It is called Roundtrip, the illustrations are in black and white and tell the tale of a family that go into the city for the day. At the end of the book they turn around and go home and that is when you flip the book around and read about their trip home.

I remember being amazed at the illustrations and how they could make two different pictures just by turning it upside down. Before I had Kate I was looking for it online and found it on Amazon and bought two because I was so excited to find it and because it was so cheap. I don't think my kids appreciate the awesomeness of this book now, but one day they will.

An example of the illustrations. They drove over a bridge on the way there and passed rows of power lines on the way back.
