Mixed Pics

A random sampling of our life this month. 

Kate was able to fulfill a lifelong dream of returning to the bus park. 

She had talked about this park all the time and how much she missed it while we were in Utah. 

She even sang a song while she played. Something along the lines of "I remember this park... etc"

More park shots. Having the time of their lives.

Kate has been making some great choices of outfits that she wears. 

She also has hair demands. 

Anyone that knows me or has even just seen my hair, knows that doing hair isn't a strong suit of mine, but yet I am met with a challenge almost everyday with this chick. 

Just a whole lot of creative differences and compromising happening.

A potential whole head of braids was narrowed down to two. 

Keeping it a little more understated for preschool.

Sam got an Elmo guitar for his birthday. There is only one volume option, super loud and one happy boy singing "That's Elmo's world" at the top of his lungs. Annoying, but so sweet.

Another thing that I am not proud of is the introduction to Blues Clues at our house. Here is Kate making a "clue" for her brother, because every time he sees a paw print now he says "Look Mommy, a clue." Another annoying (Blue's Clues), yet so sweet thing.

Sam was starting to resemble David Bowie. (See below) So this month, a forced haircut was in order.

Sam and his new haircut, the best picture I had. He looks like such a big boy now, not that looking like an awesome rocker was bad, he just looks sweeter.

This is a such a fun stage with these two. 

I am breaking up fights more, but I am also seeing their relationship develop and I am really enjoying their company.
