On June 16th, we left Illinois and the sideways house that was our home for a year. The townhouses were positioned sideways so that the front door did not face the street and that drove our children nuts. When we went house hunting in Kansas, that was a big priority on their list was to not buy a house that was sideways.
We arrived in Kansas two days later and actually moved into a house that we bought, I'm sure everyone is like "No! The Stephens can't settle down, that just isn't what they do. That was one thing we could count on every year was the Stephens moving." Well we have done it, I don't know how long this will last but we have done it, in Kansas, nonetheless. We will try to entertain you in other ways, I'm sure the kids won't disappoint and now you can safely plan a visit without worrying if we will even be here when you get here. Here is a picture of us on the day we did our final walk through. I have always had weird hair, but man, my hair is super weird here. Everyday is a mystery of how my hair will look. Anyway, we made it and we are excited to make this place our home.
