When you live in a cold place, you get to do cold things if you want to go outdoors.
Luckily, this year's Ice Sculpture Festival was a lot warmer. Upper 30's yo.
Bundled up the kids and ventured out. Kate was in full posing form, she stopped at every sculpture and told me to take a picture. I especially like the red dress one. Kate's favorites were the Valentine's Day ones. Sam was being a little brother and wouldn't even look at the camera.
On our way back to the car we stopped at a bakery and picked out a cookie. There is something so cool about seeing all of the baked goods on display, I made Kate pose again so I could take a picture.
It wasn't a long venture out but it was nice to get out and feel the sun and be apart of the living.
