Squirrels and Hibernation

For the last few months I couldn't help but notice the squirrels going about their business frantically, it is my assumption that they are making a mad dash to collect everything they need for hibernation.

I didn't understand their urgency until we had some days last week that were in the upper 60's, then I too felt like a mama squirrel making sure that each warmish day we went outside atleast once to soak all of those rays that soon will be gone. These pictures are nothing special, they are just of one of the last warm days I have a feeling we will see in a while.
