Since I was in 8th grade we have always spent 4th of July in San Clemente (with the exception of one year). I would love coming down to the beach right after my birthday because it always felt like the celebration continued. This year was no different, except that it was Kate's first 4th of July. We had dinner on the beach with family and then watched the fireworks that were being launched from the pier. It was a good day. Did I mention that July is my favorite month?

Wow that sounds like an amazing day. I LOVE traditions! Going to the beach would be a fabulous thing to do, maybe we'll try it one of these years on the 4th of July. I love all of the pictures. You guys are so cute.
Im sorry I didn't get to go and hang out with you guys. Heidi had a blast. I watched fireworks from the middle of the road directing traffic around a crash.
