June Twenty-Fourteen

Kate's last day of school.
She had an idea of decorating a shirt for the last day and I said "Oh, so you can have everyone sign it?" She looked at me like I was crazy, she just wanted to decorate a shirt. So behind the times I guess.

Kate's first day of school at Lobo.
Kate made a comment that if she comes back to California, she would like to go back t Lobo because it was the friendliest school she had ever been to. She's pretty sweet.

One day we met my sister and her kids down in Oceanside to check out the San Luis Rey mission. I'm not sure what the kids thought about it. They love seeing their cousins, so I'm sure that was all that mattered.

The crazies, so stoked to see each other.

Watching a video and unsure about their surroundings.

Millie gets a lot of love.

The sad thing was that Jennifer and I somehow never did a mission project in Elementary school, which was pretty standard in California, so, we had no clue what to tell our kids about what a mission was. We totally failed at being a Californian that day.

But, later in the month we did go to Legoland and we both know about Legos. I have always had a brain for pop culture anyway, so that's what my kids get.

Wild Style with Kate and Noah.

Emmet with Millie, Kate, Noah and Sam.
Please notice that Sam is holding Emmet's hand and then look at his huge smile. I love it.

At the end of June we met up with the Williams' for some dinner and s'mores at the park as a last get together before we moved.

Their kids are pretty much the same ages as our kids and their two oldest are the same gender as our two oldest. It always worked out so nicely when we would get together, the kids loved hanging with their buds.

Forest and Sam

Kate and Daphne

Dash and Millie

We will miss this crew and all of our s'more nights.

Now on to Chicago 3.0 and all of the potential adventures we will have here. Hopefully I will post in real time more. Oh wait I think I have one more old post. After that one, I'll get back on track. Stay tuned.
