We were Californians again during the month of December. It was nice to be spoiled with the weather and to hang out with family. Here is a long run down of our stay.
Spent a lot of time in Grandpa's office at his desk,
or spinning in his computer chair.
We played in the back yard and jumped in the leaves.
We helped Grandpa with putting up the Christmas lights.
Actually they spent their time going through his tools and picking his flowers.
Case in point.
I had to come up with something that showed Grandpa those flowers did not die in vein.
Sam and Grandpa became good buddies.
If I couldn't find Sam and Grandpa was home I knew to always check by the computer in his office. Sam would just hang out in there with Grandpa.
Kate got her teeth cleaned and some fillings and was an excellent little patient.
I was glad because I was expecting the worst.
We celebrated some birthdays. Grandpa Doug and Grandma Krystyne
Unfortunately, I did not take any pictures on my mom's birthday.
What we did when the cousins came around:
Partied on Grandpa's Birthday.
A lot of DS and Wii time. Which led Kate to say "Big brothers sure do play a lot of Wii."
An unwanted cousin pic. One of many.
This one was on Harvard St. that was decorated for Christmas.

Grandma by the tree that she decorated with the Interfaith Council on Harvard.
Prepping for a Santa picture. It was so chaotic and I love all of the things happening in this picture. I think that Josh will especially like this one. I posted it for you Joshie. :)
Pancakes.
Forced sharing. Poor Isaac, Sam is his worst nightmare now, but will be his best friend later. But Isaac knows how to get him back, having a tender head is a real weakness for Sam.
Trying to get the kids to take a picture of the moms/sisters. Did not go as well as I've seen on other blogs.
And if your jealous of the green sheen on my glasses, it's called non glare coating. You can ask for it at your local Lens Crafters.
One unsuccessful attempt, but it is a cute picture of little Wesley.
The big kids made kites and took them out for a test run. I didn't get any pictures because that's how good they flew. But here are the little kids watching with Grandma.
We met up with the Stephens cousins and had a nice visit.
Uncle Coco & Kate
The 2nd Generation Stephens cousins.
And a picture with some of the sisters. This never happens and I know why, every picture we took one of us had something to say about it and then we'd take another.
Now that I am so far away again, I can appreciate all of the time that was spent in California.
I love my family, we are not perfect, but I'm grateful they are mine.
