Scouting New York

While searching the internet for info on Hole n' the Rock I came upon this blog: scoutingny.com

It has really turned out to be quite a gem. The writer is a film location scout and he shares not only pictures, but in depth history of the places featured. I love it and enjoy reading about all the cool history that's out there. I would love to do something like this, but he does a good job, so I'll just be content reading his posts for now.

Here are some of my faves:

A beach club that froze in time and stayed that way.

An actual 19th century neighborhood in New York.

Old houses. Spooky or just plain cool, there is a lot.

Enjoy! And, if you know of any other cool blogs like this let me know.
