I told Kate today to get ready because we were going to look at a potential preschool for the fall. I was almost ready and went in her room to see her filling up her backpack. She told me that she put all of her shoes in her bag and she wanted to take them to preschool. Me already having a million things to carry reluctantly let her take the bag with us. I thought I would convince her to leave it in the car, but of course that didn't work. I got her out and she needed to bring it because she was going to preschool. She walked the halls and her eyes were lit with excitement. We looked in a classroom that was empty and Kate just made herself right at home. Later, when we got home she told me she would go there by herself and I would stay home with brother. I looked in her bag later to see what else she had in there; 4 pairs of shoes, socks, 2 stuffed animals and her toy blender.
I think she was planning to stay there.
Where did my little baby go?

Love this! They grow so/too fast don't they? jack can't wait to start "school" either.
Oh my gosh that is SO CUTE of little Kate. I can't believe she is big enough to go to preschool. Mae started preschool about a year after Will was born... honestly the social time was exactly what she needed. She blossomed in a lot of ways that year!!
