Adjusting

How photo shoots end these days.

I hear conflicting opinions on whether one, two or even three children are easier. For me, two hasn't been all that bad. I think it's because I already knew what to expect and I am not coming off working full time. I will say that I agree with a comment I heard from a friend at church when I had Kate, she said, "Having only one is so easy, when you have to go somewhere it is like grabbing a purse." With two it is a bonus when I only have to take one to run errands.
Kate's adjustment on the other hand has been a love/hate experience. When Sam cries and I can't get to him right away, Kate will put the pacifier in his mouth, which is very sweet. What's not so sweet is when he starts to suck she takes it out. It looks like some will be adjusting longer than others, luckily Sam is a good sport about it.

Two was an adjustment but not hard! I still had two arms so I could hold both of my kids if I needed too. Three on the other hand was SO hard for me! Maybe because it came as a total shock that I was even pregnant but also, when all three kids were sad, how do I pick which one to hold first? Now that they are all older it's fine and dandy but that first year, whoo-weeeee, I'm glad it's over!! So, did I scare you?? Three isn't bad, just an adjustment! But you still have a LOOOOOOOOOOOOONG ways to go before you even think of 3 :)

two was kind of rough for me at first. i think i was just so used to how easy one child was for me.

but either way - it gets easier and now all is well.

daphne still will take out forest's binky if she feels the need to 'talk to him' as she says.
