Girl's Camp - Big Sur

Kate did her first year of Girls Camp with our church. They decided to drive to a campground in Big Sur. It was so beautiful, the pictures don't do it justice and I kept reminding them how lucky they were to be able to go there. The whole drive I would jot down notes if we passed by something cool that I wanted to Google later. I want to get a van or RV and spend some time camping with the family from place to place. It was so beautiful.

The view across the street from our campsite.

The walk to the beach.

The campsite.

The last day we drove up to Monterey Bay to go on a kayak tour in the bay. It was amazing and I would do it again in a heartbeat. We got so close to some sea otters in our group and Kate's group got a little to close to the sea lions and she was nervous. But it was one of those once in a lifetime experiences. I'm glad we were able to go.

All of the girls together on the first evening there.
