This year I just wanted to go to the fair for my birthday. My sister and her family was in town from Washington and everyone was good sports about going along with my plan. We went to the San Diego County Fair in Del Mar with another sister and her family too and my parents, it was quite the fair entourage. We went first to the monster trucks and then got some food and took the kids over to ride some rides. It was a long, stressful day but it was fun spending it with family and next time I need to bring ear plugs for the monster trucks.
Cousins
No one was as excited than me to see that some of the displays were from the OZ Museum in Wamego, KS. I was telling all of the family that we had been there and then it made me miss Kansas.

One of my favorite things is watching the kids on fair rides. So much excitement.
