Summer in CA

My phone crashed, so I lost all of June and the Fourth of July pictures but we got back on track right before Kate's birthday.
Here is summer 2018 in review:

Kate turned 11.

We tried to spend a hot and crowded summer's day at Knott's Berry Farm, but gave up after a while and went swimming.

Kate and I went back that night to ride some rides and we realized we do the same selfie smile.

Kate, Sam and their cousin Noah took a drawing class by Parker Jacobs for a week and got to meet some fun characters.

The kids with the Bat Commander.

Paul Frank

And their teacher, Parker Jacobs

Even the Mom's got a picture with Paul Frank. I was a little too excited and told him I was a huge fan in the 90's.
I'm sure he gets a lot of Moms telling him that.

Grandma & Grandpa Gray watched Ben and Millie and we were able to take these two to the Vans US Open of Surfing.

Beach trips happened a lot.

We bought a townhouse. (All we could afford in this state.)

Had many beach days with the Stephens.

Youngest and Oldest cousins on the Stephens side. And matching too.

A trip to Legoland with the Hill's.

...And we ended our summer with Benny wanting to celebrate his birthday in the hospital.
He had a cold and wasn't breathing right, so we took him to the ER. It turns out he had bronchiolitis and we were able to get him out of there before the first day of school.
