Tuesday: We went to see the Round Rock that our town is named after.
Right here would be the spot where the picture of the Round Rock would be, but out of all the pictures I took that day, not one of the Round Rock.
But I did get the sign, you can always count on me to get the signs.
Ben just chilling by old wagon wheel tracks that are still in the limestone.

Wednesday: We kept the party rolling (no pun intended) when we went and checked out Mayfield Park.
There were so many cool trees to climb on.
Beautiful views.
We were all just having a good time, I was planning on being there for a while, just explore and eat up the day outside. Kate was being a good helper with Ben when I had to help Millie.
The kids found these cool rocks to climb on that were way higher up than they looked.
Kate wanted me to come up so she could show me something, so she started to come down. I looked away because Ben was just climbing the mountain by himself, and when I turned around I caught, what was the tale end of a really big fall for Kate. I guess she stumbled and just kept rolling down the hill. she would try to stop herself but the leaves made it slippery and there was nothing to grab onto. The picture above is the spot where it happened.
Needless to say, Kate got pretty banged up and we got out of there. Luckily, nothing was broken but she did fall pretty hard. It was a fun walk out of there. All she wanted to do was get to the car and Ben wanted to walk and play in the dirt and Sam and Millie wanted to stay. It felt like it was a really long walk to the car.
Thursday: We needed a home day. So, inspired by Cake Wars, the kids did a Cupcake Wars challenge. The theme, St Patrick's Day.
Ben is always really helpful.
Friday: It was another hang out day. Complete with yesterday's cupcakes and the Slip n' Slide
Even though we had an injury. It was nice to just chill with the kids and let them just hang out together. It was nothing fancy but it was an easy Spring Break.
