Christmas Twenty Fifteen

Christmas Eve and Christmas Day were spent in California this year. We did Christmas Eve at my parent's house and Christmas day/evening with the Stephens and the Lunts.

Every year since I can remember, there is always one kid that doesn't do what they are supposed to do in the Nativity scene and it can stress my Mom out as she is trying to get everyone dressed. I feel like when ever my kids are in town, one of them stirs it up. This year it was Millie, the shepherd that prefers to ride sheep and not stay in her costume or even stay in the manger with the other children. I just need to promise my Mom that it will get better. The little angel below, used to ride the sheep too and when it was her turn to be baby Jesus, she did not want to be held, but preferred to sit by the manger with her bright turquoise pacifier in her mouth and now look at her, taking her role very seriously.

Another Shepherd being a little street. We are definitely the Chicago cousins. (ie: The Buttercream Gang)

Two sweet angels: Abby and Kate. Abby is my nephew Steven's daughter.

Waiting for their cues.

The whole crew.

A little Christmas serenade by my Dad. A very long-standing tradition. I miss it when we are not there.

Couple selfies are always ten times cuter when you add one of our children in it.

Christmas PJs

The Hill's and the Stephens'. Minus Millie.

Christmas came.

And of course these crazy kids were ready.

Later in the day we went to Grandma Lori's and Grandpa Doug's for a Stephens Christmas and the party continued over at Heidi's house (Ryan's sister).
This is the only picture I got, but it's all of the adults and that never happens, so I'm happy.

Christmas was pretty relaxing and we enjoyed just being able to hang with our families.
It was a good Christmas.
