Before moving, we hoped to do a few more Lake Michigan days but this one ended up being our one and only trip. We went to St Joseph's, but took the scenic route and stopped in Beverly Shores to look at the World's Fair houses, I think they were called the Houses of Tomorrow. In October, they do a one day walking tour of the houses, so if you are around, please go do this for me and tell me how it is. You have to reserve tickets online. After looking at the houses we hit the beach and had a wonderful time. Who would have thought that Michigan/Indiana/Illinois would have such awesome beaches?

Man, I can honestly say, our Saturday excursions to the lake are one of the things I miss the most about Illinois. I wish I could take everything that I like from all of the places I've lived and clump it all together to be just this awesome place. Or we just need to make road trips up there every now and then.
