Christmas Season 2014

The kids helped decorate the tree. As in, I did the lights and the tinsel and they hung all of the ornaments. This year they were very intense about the tree decorating process and wanted to help all along the way. There was some rearranging the first night by me and in the day, everyday, by Millie. This year was our worst yet for broken bulbs. Dang toddlers.

We went to see the lights at the Brookfield Zoo and it was freezing, we didn't stay long.
There is a freezing trend in my posts, I am one that prefers hibernation over being out in cold temperatures.

We kept up with tradition and did our graham cracker gingerbread houses.

 The finished projects.

The Angel, Joseph and Mary

For Christmas Eve this year we went and saw the new Annie, went to the Patio for dinner, came home and did the nativity and opened up Christmas PJ's. It was pretty low key, but nice.

Christmas day, we opened presents and took a flight out to California to be with family for the remainder of the Holiday Season.
