Some Spring Things

Kate had her first Jog-a-thon.

The kids had their first visit to Knott's Berry Farm.

Took Kate and Sam on the Log ride. Kinda creepy, but fun.

They look like little Peanuts characters here.

Sam giving a ride.
One of my favorite pictures.

We checked out the Swallow's Day festival and Kate got a good face painting.

And this boy got a black eye from the twisty slide at the park a few days earlier.

We went to Disneyland.

Cars land was awesome. The kids didn't really care when I told them the Cone Motel was modeled after the Wigwam Motel that we stayed at, but I cared.

Not so sure about the Dumbo ride.

They were not so sure about Captain EO either.

We got a great deal on the Knott's tickets and the Disneyland tickets were free, compliments of Uncle Coco. We are no big spenders here and besides I think amusement parks in California are the equivalent of a day trip to a museum in Chicago. This post inaccurately shows our life, but pictures of taking Kate to school in my pajamas and watching PBS kids all day isn't a fun thing to blog about and I want my kids to have proof that we did fun things sometimes. We don't always have "down days." And that is all.
