Valentine's Day

This Valentine's Day, we didn't have school, so it was a free day to eat candy and do a mini adventure. Now that we have kids, I like that our Anniversary and Valentine's Day fall close together because we do the couple thing before on our Anniversary and have Valentine's to celebrate with our little loves.

Ryan got each of the kids a balloon and a Pez dispenser. The Pez candy was gone in about a minute and we lost one balloon to the ceiling in the morning, another one in the afternoon and the last one we lost to a popping incident. Oh well, they loved them while they lasted.

Millie's first Valentine's Day.

Later we picked up lunch at Subaway, (the way Kate says it) and ate it at this cool place/park called Heritage Hill. It has a few examples of homes/buildings from different eras of Orange County's past that you can walk around and check out.

Millie just relaxing and taking it all in.

Later that evening we went to Round Table Pizza for a heart shaped pizza. The place smelled like how I remember pizza places smelling like back when I was a kid, when it was the cool thing to have your birthday party at a pizza place. Er, maybe that was just Hemet and since my birthday was always in the summer, I always had outdoor parties, but I swear my sister had a few at Strawhat Pizza. Anyway...

Lastly, here is a side by side comparison of our little girl Valentines in the same outfit. Kinda bummed I didn't do one with Sam, but I remember thinking it was a little girly even though when Kate wore it someone commented that she was such a cute boy.

That was our Valentine's Day 2014.
