Thanksgiving Twenty-Twelve

First Thanksgiving by ourselves with just us four.

First time making a turkey.

First time buying a meat thermometer.

First time that we don't have to worry that the leftovers will be gone.

First time making a pumpkin pie, which I found out later will only be consumed by me.

There are always firsts and this year on Thanksgiving we had a lot.

We missed our families, but it was interesting to see if we could actually pull it off.

I think we did ok.
