We went down to California a couple of weekends ago and threw Kate a birthday party with family at my parent's house. She loved it and was very cheesy all day especially when it came time to open presents. I told her before to remember to say Thank You after she opened each present, I said people give presents because they love you and giving things make people happy and saying Thank You makes them happy too. Oh boy did she take it a step further, almost into sarcastic territory. She would hug the present and say this is what I always wanted and then run and give a hug to the gift giver. I'm hoping everyone took it as genuine because it was, she just tends to be a little over dramatic.

It was a fun and stressful night. I don't know how my mom does it all the time. I wish I took more pictures of everyone, but all and all it was a nice night.

seriously it is hard work and I need to remember to keep it pretty calm b/c I have to do it again the next year. I see some of these parties, and Im like- "seriously!"
this was absolutely darling! I can hardly wait to throw a girlie party. I loved seeing your temple square pictures, so pretty. I dont want to hear any complaining about hot. Its so hot that poor mia burned her feet on the ground the other day. Miss you guys, wish we lived closer
