O Christmas Tree

So this year we thought it would be cool and do a Griswald style Christmas tree hunt, complete with snow and freezing.

But then we decided that was just a nice thought that looks cooler in the movies and headed down to Home Depot instead.

It snowed hard last night and all day. Kate can't wait to build a snowman, but we have to get her gloves first which she learned the hard way by falling hands first in the snow. I swear that has happened before, oh yeah just found it here.

Sam's first real snow fall, he was such a champ.

Here are two things, this is our first time buying a Christmas tree in a couple of years. Many of you may recall us being transients for the last two Christmases, so it was nice pulling out our decorations. The second thing, as we were standing in the snow picking out the tree, I thought about Kate's first Christmas and how we froze picking up a tree at the Walmart in San Clemente, I thought that if we ever make it back to California I will never complain about the cold again. It will kind of be fun to have a white Christmas and do snow things but for all of you that will post about your warm and sunny Christmas romps, just remember to not brag too much. Thanks.
