Pickles

When I was little I couldn't get enough of pickles. Not just any pickle, it had to be Vlasic Zesty pickles. I was introduced to the mouth watering pickles at the Brinton's, my good friend's house up the street. I would crave them and always ask for them when I was up there. It got to a point in my adult years that I had to really cut back on pickles, because I could eat a whole jar in one day if I wanted to.

When I found out I was pregnant with Kate I was so excited that I now I had an excuse to eat pickles. But the jar sat in my fridge and never really got a second look throughout my pregnancy. Ever since then I haven't been able to give pickles a real loving chance like I used to.

Then one day I saw a familiar jar sitting on the shelf at the grocery store, my mouth watered and I knew that it was now time to enjoy that treat from the past.

I am excited to announce that I now crave pickles again.

But, I am even more excited to announce that we are expecting another BABY. Kate will be a big sister come April of 2010. We are really excited and we can't wait to meet the newest member of our family.

The pickle story was secondary to the real story but I thought it would be a sneaky lead in to the real news. And yes, I will love this baby more than pickles.
